CPC - 4-Fuel-Efficient and Safe Driving, National Standards and VRU Awareness

This course will deliver an interactive and engaging view of what fuel-efficient and safety compliance should look like and develop a better understanding of the techniques and benefits of driving well. Drivers will also learn about FORS and Earned Recognition Schemes and how they’ve improved road safety in terms of VRUs and legal compliance. Our trainers will inspire drivers to look at their normal work activities with a different, safer and more compliant perspective.

7 hours. Excluding breaks and ID checks.

Who can attend?

This Fuel-Efficient & Safe Driving, National Standards & VRU Awareness course is available to anyone with a vocational licence who is required and eligible to complete CPC periodic training.

Other members of any logistics or waste frontline operational team can also sit this course to gain a better understanding of the workplace environment that their drivers operate within. Please just notify the CMS Trainer that you do not require the CPC hours.

This course complies with any organisations requirements under their provision of Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course is designed to complete 7 hours of required CPC hours and/or can be delivered as a level 3 qualification which is regulate under Ofqual in England. Please note that the EFAW course is only available in-person either at your premises or at a CMS SupaTrak venue.
